HB Casting

HB – The casting is manufactured from the alloy AIZnSi and produced with pressure casting technology. The air gap between the tongue and the cast edges is 0.24 mm. The tongues are produced from Swedish steel with a strength of 2 000 N/mm². The tongue size is smaller than our other class qualities, but it still retains the sound quality and tonal range which is typical of zinc alloys. These basses are standardly offered in only two different widths. The markings and dimensions can be seen in the appended table.
