The reeds are manufactured with electro-erosive technology. The shape and sizes of the reed plates are adapted for the classic Irish concertina, teardrop-shaped with a side bevel. The plates are manufactured from sound brass Ms 57 with a thickness of 2 mm. The tongues are made from Swedish steel with a strength of 2 000 Mpa and a T3 tolerance. They are ground with high precision -20 Cent from the base tone. The tongue sizes are used from DIX reeds. The tongues are screwed to the plate using two M1.6 screws and a brass washer.
