The reed plates are manufactured using precise cutting technology to achieve a smooth, clean surface. Pressing is done from brass sheet metal MS63 at a thickness of 2.5 mm. The tongue gaps are pressed with an accuracy of +/- 0.01 mm. The plate surface is ground. The tongues are ground from reed steel with a strength of 2 000 N/mm² and pressed from planchets with a width of 240 mm. The tongues are manufactured with extremely effective anticorrosive protection or from stainless steel. Riveting of the reed plates is done by machine, maintaining a maximal air gap at the tip of 0.13 mm. The reeds are produced in a complete tonal range of between E2 and E7.
