The Export Dural is a third-class reed. The reed plates are produced with precise pressing technology for the achievement of a clean surface. Pressing is done from an AI profile with a minimal hardness of 85 HB. Tongue holes are pressed with an accuracy of +/- 0.01 mm. The plate surface is ground and mechanically cleaned.

The tongues are produced from reed steel with a strength of 2 000 N/mm², a width of 2400 mm, and pressed with an accuracy of +/- 0.01 mm. The assembly of the tongues on the reed plates is conducted by machine and the following control of the tongue centering is achieved with a total air gap of 0.10 mm and its consequent intonation.

The reeds are made of Al alloy with hardness 120 HB. The channels are pressed by a precision cutting system. The surface of the reed is finely ground. The reeds are made of Swedish steel with a strength of 2 000 N/mm² with a tolerance of T3, ground to an accuracy of -20 cents from the basic tone, with a head width at the rivet of 7 – 9 mm, with corrosion protection. The reeds are machine riveted with an air gap between the channel wall and the tongue of 0.05 mm on each side. The reeds are machine re-tuned +/- 5 cents.
