Reeds for the Bayan accordion are produced using electro-erosive technology, which enables the production of reed plates of all sizes according to customer requirements. The plates for the bass and treble parts are made of dural Al with a hardness of 160 HB and a thickness of 3 - 6 mm. The plates for the piccolo part are made of special sound brass MS57. The tongues are made from reed steel with a strength of 2 000 N/mm². By developing the profile and dimensions of the reeds, we achieved a clear, pure tone sounding throughout the tonal spectrum. Reeds are manually assembled and pre-tuned to the desired frequency.
