The reed plates are manufactured with electro-erosive technology from a special zinc alloy which has already been used in the manufacture of classic bandoneons by Alfred Arnold. The tongues are made from reed steel with a strength of 2 000 N/mm², a T3 tolerance, and ground to an accuracy of 20 cents with a special profile which allows for quick pitching from piano pianissimo to forte fortissimo. Tongue sizes were adopted from the best reeds of German manufacture. The reeds are machine riveted with a clearance of 0.03 mm between the reed and the channel. These reeds are produced according to specific customer requirements.
